Job Summary:
MPC takes a team approach to real estate to give our clients quality service by building relationships and maintaining those relationships through effective communication. We understand that buying or selling a home is a complex and deeply personal endeavor. Our clients deserve the full service and attention that only a team of experts can consistently provide. As an Agent with MPC you will give the personal attention associated with the client-agent relationship and which is improved by professionalism and consistency of a thoughtful business model.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
A Buyer Agent guides clients through buying properties and searches for properties that match the client's specifications.
- Create good relationships with lenders, appraisers, home inspectors, and escrow companies
- Compile lists of real estate properties with details regarding their location, square footage, and features
- Meet with their clients to discuss their ideal property requirements and price points
- Generate client leads to buy or rent properties
- Counsel clients on market conditions, prices, and mortgages
- Develop a competitive market price by comparing properties
- Host open houses and show clients properties that align with their expectations
- Show properties to potential buyers and renters
- Facilitate negotiations between buyers and sellers
- Assist with the review of purchase contracts to ensure terms are met
- Work with the team on promoting properties with ads, listings, and open houses
- Assist in preparing contracts, purchase agreements, rental agreements, deeds, and other documents for each real estate transaction
- Maintain your real estate license and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Must have real estate license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the local property market
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to multitask, manage time, and prioritize activities
- Good organization skills to be able to create various schedules and timelines
Expectations:
- Buyer agents must take pre-licensing courses as determined by their state of residence
- Buyer agents must obtain a license by passing a state and national exam
- Buyer agents will be fingerprinted with the ability to be bonded
- Buyer agents will successfully complete the “New Agent Onboarding Training” process (see the 30/60/90 day Onboarding Training plan)
- Buyer agents will have reviews at 30, 60, 90 days
- Buyer agents will attend mandatory team meetings
- Buyer agents will join MLS, GNAR, TNReatlors.com, Sentrilock, etc.
- Buyer agents will complete orientation with Agent Experience Manager (AEM)
- Buyer agents will set up Compass email and tools
- Buyer agents will set up Team Tracker and other operation tools (email box, time blocking, calendars, mobile application, etc.)
- Buyer agents will successfully complete Compass Academy Tools and Technology Training and In-Office Training
- Buyer agents will be required to generate a $3 million minimum in (GCI) gross commission income
